LemuGroup has announced it will be exhbitibng at drupa with many new innovations. For the past eight years, the Group has been developing new technologies and that will expand its reach into new parallel markets.

Traditionally known for the design and manufacture of slitter-rewinders for the POS converting equipment, label converting equipment and end of line packaging automation for roll and sheet products, baking paper, plotter-vinyl paper and flexible packaging, the company has now entered the market of paper bags and envelopes, focusing on e-commerce, retailers and logistics companies and more. LEMU has developed three new machines for this market: Revolution1, e-Comm2 and e-Comm3.

The main advantage and differentiation of the equipment lies in the production of bags and envelopes in a single pass. A fully automatic process from start to finish, marks a milestone in the efficiency and quality of the converting process for these products.

LemuGroup says its equipment ensures maximum manufacturing efficiency and high output performance in daily production. The machines are designed to achieve optimum Overall Equipment Efficiency. In this regard, LemuGroup has developed servo-driven machines that operate continuously, without stopping, and at maximum manufacturing speed with little down time.

All LEMU machines are equipped with advanced error detection systems and AI Quaility Control, which allows them to identify any problems during the manufacturing process. When an error is detected, the machine is able to discard the defective product without stopping production. In this way, LEMU  ensures high productivity and quality in the final product. All of this ensures high revenues with a fast ROI.

The the show, LemuGroup will feature:

  • The Revolution1 – a machine that manufactures SOS paper bags with flat handles.
  • The e-comm2 – equipment for manufacturing single-ply paper envelopes in line with an incorruptible design.
  • The e-comm3 – equipment that manufactures padded paper envelopes. The central layer is a fully recyclable embossed. This will be the equipment to be presented at drupa at booth 11B04.
LemuGroup has developed a compact end-of-line robotic packging system that is able to adapt to the needs of roll and sheeted product. The UltraCompact system allows for complete unwind to palletised box requiring a single operator. It is based on quick change set ups to minimize production down times. Programmable HMI interfaces ensure job retention for repeat jobs and total run analysis to measure daily out put and productivity. LemuGroup will feature this equipment in its entirety at drupa, where demonstrations will be given.

Other technology from the label division will be on display at the LemuGroup booth. The group has developed the LI 220 RFID label inserter with two modes of operation. The unit produces  multilayer labels and as well provides for the insertion of RFID tracking in commercial labels perfect for facilitating inventory control, counterfeiting and anti theft.

The LI 220 RFID is a modular system to which a Voyantic RFID inspection system will be added. This system will guarantee 100% of the quality of the RFID tags.

All this will be available for demonstrations at the LemuGroup booth at drupa 11B04.
